Rihanna’s new single Only Girl (In The World) has just premiered as promised the song has a big sound. The Song is a dance pop anthem Via Please Don’t Stop The Music. Produced by Stargate and written by Ester Dean pefect for this big sound.
Rihianna reviled the titled of her fifth album will be LOUD:
“The name of my new album is LOUD!” she says “normal for me is LOUD!, sassy, fun, flirty, energetic”. She continues: “My first promo pic will be released along with the single”. The Barbadian beauty even urged fans to help the song become a smash: “We need to make sure ‘Only Girl’ goes number one in all of your countries!”

As the prdictions came true Susan Boyle hit number one with over 701,000 copies in it’s first week. The best sales week for an album in the U.S. this year. Also marks the best opening week for a female artist’s debut beating out Ashanti for the title with 503,000 in 2002. Andrea Bocelli’s “My Christmas” stays strong at Numer 2 for a third weewith over 201,000.
American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert’s RCA debut “For Your Entertainment” comes at Number 3 on with 198,000 copies. Rihanna’s fourth album “Rated R” climbs at Number 4 with 181,000 – the young diva’s best sales week yet. Lady GaGa’s new 8 song EP “The Fame Monster” bows at Nunber 5 with 174,000 while her first album “The Fame” rises from No. 34 to No. 6 (151,000; up 429%). A combined album sale of 325,000 copies.

Leona Lewis, 50 Cent & Kris Allen’s Dismal Album Sales + Next Week Predictions
Could this be a relection on the economy or the music it’s self. Leon’s Lewis Echo sold a measly 67,000. Very weak sionce her 2007 album spirt was the best selling album of the year, also Kris Allen self titled Lp is the lowest selling first week for an american idol winner with only 80,000 , 50 Cent also was not immune he sold only 160,000. His last 2007’s Curtis sold over 600,000. But it’s not all bad news John Mayer came in at number with over 285,000, Making it his second number one album.
